I late to party someoen give me rundown good or bad what there be?
Biggest issue would possibly be running it in Rosetta mode, 11.0 took ages to start (we're really talking several minutes here, like <10), in 11.0.1 that's down to some seconds (still considerably longer than in silicon-mode). There's also being folks reporting issues when copying and pasting regions, but apparently that has been fixed, too.

Otherwise, for me it's running nicely, but I'd still recommend backing up 10.8.1 (just copy it to some safe space).

As far as the new features go, Stem Separation is fun (and pretty decent) for me but I don't really need it, the new virtual players are fine, too, but I hate where things are going these days in general, so I rather try not to use them. The new instruments coming along with them are fine, the basses are even almost great, but there's issues with the Studio Bass plugin, most notably very high CPU usage when actually playing it via MIDI at low buffersizes (can't be justified by the quality).ChromaGlow seems to be a great saturation effect, but far from being something revolutionary at all.

In a nutshell, for me it's a very underwhelming update for a big version number jump. And I'd rather see them finally adressing some longstanding issues. But I doubt that'll ever happen.
