Bitwig = 299 + (169 * 12) = $179 per year over 13 years

Ableton = $750 + (239 * 3) = $113 per year over 13 years

Logic Pro ~$200 own forever

Yes but right now for Bitwig, the extension of upgrade is 50% discounted.
So we are talking about a worst case scenario. A scenario that will never happen ==> if your licence expires, you don't have to renew until :
1 - there is a discount or
2 - there is a new version you like.

So it is NEVER 169/year. It is either 169/year - X% discount, either 169 every .... 15 months?
