I guess I’m wondering what can’t you play (or play well) on a linnstrument? Also I don’t know how to do replies on this site sorry and thank you.As a controller, my experience with the LinnStrument is that it is very versatile. You can play expressively in a way that isn't just possible with a regular keyboard. But a regular keyboard also has some advantages like it has better velocity control (because of the longer key travel) and maybe also easier to play without looking at it (?).
It's maybe like a hybrid between guitar and keyboard. There's things you can play on a keyboard, you just couldn't do on guitar and vice versa. The LinnStrument is a very versatile middle-ground between both, covering imho a lot of ground. I think the LinnStrument wants to be treated as an instrument of its own kind - and each Instrument comes with its own strengths and weaknesses.
