Yes, it's nice to have productions that you love as reference tracks, to calibrate ears to as you go along.
And whilst I can't yet justify to spend a thousand dollars on the REDDI, I had heard about it, thanks actually to seeing Greg Scott's emulation plugin from the House of Kush ~ he has really great plugins and I love the sound of his productions on his band Sneaky Little Devil, smacking drums etc.. gorgeous.
