Released 52 and 53 years ago respectively.
No, smart-arse, Korg's ARP Odyssey VSTi was released in 2020 and the ARP 2600 about three months ago. You couldn't give the hardware. As in literally, I wouldn't take it if it was offered for free. Nor would I take any software emulation that replicated it exactly, 1:1. What I like is the sound of the old synths but I like them in a shiny, new VSTi package with all mod-cons.
The bottom line is, no....one...cares....what you like or don't like.
Yet here you are, reading about it anyway.
Let people like what they want without being constantly challenged for their preferences.
What, let people get away with giving shit advice, so that somebody else goes away and spends money on the wrong thing? Yeah, what a fuckin' great bloke I'd be to do that. Because, if you bother to look, I was responding to a piece of advice given to someone who couldn't afford the whole bundle. My response was simply to ask for some insight into how that particular piece of advice was arrived at, followed by a simple exposition of which instruments in the collection I found useful and which I didn't. Go back and read it, that's exactly what it was. And isn't that exactly what this f**king place is for, to help each other out?
I don't want to keep feeding your pathological need for confrontation
I wasn't being confrontational in the slightest. As I said, go back and ready my f**king post. It was completely reasonable. Unless daring to ask someone a simple question is somehow over-stepping the mark? FFS, this place is like working in a day care centre.
