One thing that would make Roland Cloud work better for the majority, is if Roland would allow their subscribers to get a free synth after 12 months, vs. paying up front. This puts them in a situation, where they don't reward their customers, unless they pay upfront. That is greed. If the customer pays for 12 months, you need to reward the customer Roland regardless if it takes your customers 12 months to pay vs paying upfront.Especially in world economy like we're all in.Roland is aware the money in the Music business isn't the way it used to be, their business should reflect that. Maybe Roland should do a poll, to see what customers actually want.
Another thing is their prices are too high. They know that, they price it to make users want to subscribe to their Ultimate plan vs buying their plugins outright. Roland Cloud is not profiting the way they planned for it to. Roland needs smarter management across the board, especially at the top. The idea is to get sales, pay the company which pays the developers, everyones happy. The Cloud is not operating how it could be, I've spoken to Rolands managers over the Cloud, and they just don't get it.
