I don´t know what about you are talking...To sum it up: Never change a running system.
It costs many users many hours to test even the most basic things. Thus this installer aspect of the beta feels like alpha/green banana ware ... testing and validation offloaded to the users. Thanks to all users who took the task!

This are my questions too... and don´t be fooled... this is just a breather before they will start to push it again! And for what benefit? And what is it what we will take away from it? Has it spread love? Has it made anything better? What do users take away? Do we bitwigers still feel like a special community ... with a company that is part of it?
That are questions everybody has to answer.
When you download the beta they take the msix installer as "recommended" ... seriously??
In the current state with all the problems it causes...
And exactly... what for??
All of the points they named in their msix FAQ are more or less nonsense and can be easily done with "normal" installers as hundreds of other companies are proving every single day.
So again... what for??
What I find funny too:
They encourage their users to do and understand higher math to build themselves a wonky compressor in the Grid ... "because it has some value in it to get your head around it" ... but in their business practice they actually seem to think their users would be too silly to know how Windows works and aren´t able to delete some leftovers the installer doesn´t catch...
